Overview
Oche's tournament feature lets you run knockout competitions with automatic bracket generation, seeding, and result tracking. Perfect for pub league nights, club tournaments, or any competitive event.
Creating a Tournament
- Navigate to Tournaments from the main menu
- Tap Create Tournament
- Configure the tournament:
- Name — e.g. "Friday Night Arrows"
- Game format — X01 variant (501, 301, etc.)
- Legs per match — Best of 3, 5, 7, etc.
- Add players from your player list
ℹ️
Tournament brackets work best with player counts that are powers of 2 (4, 8, 16, 32). If you have an odd number, some players will receive a bye in the first round.
The Bracket
Once you start a tournament, Oche generates the bracket automatically:
- Random draw — Players are assigned to fixtures randomly
- Visual bracket — See the full tournament tree from first round to final
- Live updates — Results fill in as matches are completed
